Bolasie in the running. Cost more and more on wages then klassen. At least we got klassen out the club with a fee. Bolasie has probably cost the club in the region of 40m in total.

True, but he did have a terrible injury. He looked alright at times beforehand. I saw absolutely nothing in Klaassen. His performance against that Cypriot side in The Europa League was disgusting. Something not right about that whole transfer deal imo.

He won't get in the starting lineup but is an upgrade on Walcott, which I suppose isn't hard. We need an adequate backup for James.

The problem being what level of player are we going to attract as a backup? Especially without Europe to provide sufficient game time?

Yes but klassen was bombed out after a season. We probably recouped half what we paid for him and his years wages meant he probably ‘cost’ us 15m for his year with us. Compare it to Bolasie’s 40m and it’s a no brainier.
