I know, I was more talking about how in a couple of years Kean could be really good if he develops and we'd have given that up. Milik would be around for awhile but his ceiling is pretty defined.

I agree to some extent, which makes me think his attitude behind the scenes mirrors his on field behaviour and this is the reason he's leaving. He doesn't want to be here. Carlo has mentioned this is the most important thing in for a player he wants in his squad.

Presumably we don't think we can fix this attitude and now have decided to look for an alternative.

I personally don't think he will hit the heights of DCL in the long run. He might have the skill and raw ability but he is miles away from having the attitude and work rate that DCL has.

Exactly. Let's not sign bolsters for the sake of squad numbers. Each signing should be of clear and proven quality.

It is going to be hard for anyone to hit the heights that DCL is currently hitting. I think Kean wants to play and although he won't be an automatic starter at PSG they'll have more games for him to be involved in. It is also PSG, they just played in a CL final, so he could have wanted to be here and also decided that is the better option. I don't know, I'm just uncomfortable with the attitude stuff.

It's just rumours for now but if Carlo Ancelotti wants a player who on the surface of things is not a great signing there has to be a little bit of trust there in regards to him thinking he can get more out of him.

Bolasie in the running. Cost more and more on wages then klassen. At least we got klassen out the club with a fee. Bolasie has probably cost the club in the region of 40m in total.

He won't get in the starting lineup but is an upgrade on Walcott, which I suppose isn't hard. We need an adequate backup for James.
