King / Brooks / Benrahma / Sarr ... lots of players could still be added and improve us. A case of which club blinks in that league. Brands is a tough negotiator and has done an excellent job this Summer after last years failures.

I think there has been some behind the scenes agent shenanigans. He didn’t seem to want to be here and his agent is powerful. He wasn’t exactly important to us, so perhaps could be sacrificed to keep the peace.

If you leave it until the last day things can go tits up, now our tits are literally on the ceiling in the most important position on the pitch which should have been sorted long ago.
