Everything is pointing towards to cash flow problems and news about FFP isn’t really helping according to the financial experts.

How did we get Carlo to come? Surely we promised him something

He wouldn’t join a club to sign Ryan Fraser On a free transfer.

Werner will struggle in the Premier League in my opinion.

I would much prefer he struggle to score 30 goals a season for us than watch DCL struggle to make 20.

as I don't know anything about financials it looks confusing, but I take it that it is just over a 4 year period now, years 3 and 4 is counted as single period, so it doesn't look like much has changed...

I think someone will go this summer to makes things a bit easier, I have a feeling it might be Pickford maybe to Chelsea? Which I am OK with, Digne another possibility.
They have to get at least 2 Midfielders in and a right back and right winger/sided midfield player which wont be cheap so I expect a big name to go just hope it isn't Richarlison or DCL

There is money to spend imo - its never been a cash flow problem more so a FFP one I reckon.

I imagine the budget will be reduced but I would be shocked (and dissapointed) if we spent less than say £70-80 million this summer considering the state of the squad.

Yep I think over the coming weeks we may start getting business done now confirmation has been recieved.

I have wondered why we havent tied up deals for the likes of Allan & Gabriel yet and (just my opinion) I think its been waiting to see the full financial picture before getting stuff done.

Let's hop so. Need 2 good midfielders at a minimum. Gabriel would be great. Silva in he money for Keane. And hopefully a forward

We’ll balance out a few areas with Stek, Martina and Niasse out of contract and Schneiderlin sold. Get a couple more heavy wagers off the books, then that should give a bit extra fluidity.

I’d expect Silva to be one of the first, with either Gabriel or Tobido following and that would cover CB, I don’t expect us to take up the option on Sidibe so either Kenny comes back or we look for a cheaper option at RB.

Right and Centre mid would then be looked at, especially if we can shift Sigurdsson, and maybe look at an extra option up top to help Dom and Richy if we cut losses on Kean, which I can’t see, or add to the 3 to give us an extra option

If it played out like that I would be happy in terms of recruitment.

Think CM has to be the first port of call as it’s clearly not good enough.

Question is, who is their right mind is giving us cash for the fraudulent one?
