We’ll balance out a few areas with Stek, Martina and Niasse out of contract and Schneiderlin sold. Get a couple more heavy wagers off the books, then that should give a bit extra fluidity.

I’d expect Silva to be one of the first, with either Gabriel or Tobido following and that would cover CB, I don’t expect us to take up the option on Sidibe so either Kenny comes back or we look for a cheaper option at RB.

Right and Centre mid would then be looked at, especially if we can shift Sigurdsson, and maybe look at an extra option up top to help Dom and Richy if we cut losses on Kean, which I can’t see, or add to the 3 to give us an extra option

Agree with most of this. For me midfield is the area which needs addressing the most.

Think CM has to be the first port of call as it’s clearly not good enough.

Definitely midfield is our weakest area and to do anything next year it needs sorting out asap

Chelsea signed Werner for £47.5m and are set to receive £48.5m for Morata.

They also got nearly £100m for Hazard and some of that went on Ziyech.

Please don't use those deals as a stick to beat Brands with as it makes you look silly.

Agree with most of this. For me midfield is the area which needs addressing the most.

It is but I think the fact most of the links are for defensive players shows that Carlo thinks that’s a weak spot as well

They have done remarkably well to recoup that amount of the transfer fee. obviously the wages, signing on fee etc would have taken alot more money from them but £50m almost to get back on a poor performing purchase, fair play.

I think they got about £7m in a loan fee last Jan too as well as Atletico paying some wages.
