Feels like I’m banging the drum for Fraser (I’m not) but I imagine if he came on a 10-15M fee on 50k a week a lot of folks would be keen on it. Yet people are flipping over a free transfer for 100k a week.

Good squad player for me and Iwobi is a totally different type of player. Fraser can play on the right as well.

How’s he decent depth when we already have 3 or 4 players capable of playing left wing. He will cost 20mil Ava that’s a scandalous waste of money for a player of his quality that isn’t needed.

And Brands has talked about having a small squad. I very much doubt this will happen

But it’s not a position we need to waste 1mil on never mind 15. Ok he’s apparently played down the right at times for Bournemouth, but he’s mainly left sided I believe.

The only reason for getting this standard of player on a free , is if we only have one player in that position and no squad player capable of covering or a quality youngster breaking through. And none of them things fit with Fraser and where he plays , a total waste of resources, with money being tight, if you believe the rumours.

I get the principle but I don’t really agree. He’s not a bad player, he’d be Absolutely fine as part of the squad if we needed depth in his position, but we don’t. If he does come in alarm bells will definitely be ringing for me about brands because it would just seem pointless.

If we are going to primarily use 4 4 2, then we need to bring in a right sided midfielder.

If we are going use a number 10, then I can see bringing in Fraser on the left, with Bernard and Iwobi covering at 10 (and still bring in a right sided midfielder).
