Ya read brands latest interview?
Brands has walked into the perfect job here, gets paid big money and he can’t get rid of the deadwood and not likely to be buying too many players.
He’ll be excused for any failings.
Only Everton would pay big money for a Highly rated DOF and manager and not back them.

I like Brands a bunch, his first summer was outstanding imo but you have to admit that last year was underwhelming to say the least. And his refusal to do any genuine business in January really aggravates me..
Not acceptable, but we will make excuses.
People are desperate to provide excuses! They’re also still blaming Walsh when Brands brought in Iwobi and Gbamin for 50 million pound last year!
I can’t stand seeing some of these formations that are including Iwobi on the left or even as a number 10. There was a formation a few pages ago that had Iwobi playing as a 10 and Coutinho playing on the left ffs.
If Richarlison is gona play upfront, then we really should be bringing in Ryan Fraser; as Iwobi is absolutely shocking and the thought of having him as our left midfielder is truly frightening as we will go absolutely nowhere with him.
Once again, I'm not in love with Ryan Fraser, but I think he is better than what we have already. He certainly isn't any worse!
As if you're blaming Brands for Gbamin getting a long-term injury in his second game. Absolute nonsense.
Because otherwise he’d definitely have been absolutely class?
The facts are that another 50 million pound went down the toilet last summer under Brand’s watch. With Gbamin being unable to kick a ball in training without sustaining six month long injuries.
Brands is definitely well placed within the excuse cohort.
