Everton Transfer Thread - Summer 2020

Not sure Fraser is better mate. Not sure at all he is a tidy little player but would rather save our money for actual difference makers in positions where we are thin. We have three if not four players who can play on the left. We have Walcott and maybe Gordon who can play on the right.

As I said key positions are central midfield and right wing probably a right back and centre back depending who we can shift.
Walcott is awful. His first touch is embarrassing.

He’s no 10, that’s an excuse used to absolve how unbelievably crap he is on the left.

He was crap at Arsenal and he’s been crap at Everton. I know that we will struggle to get rid of him but we should at least try, and we shouldn’t persist with him at the expense of bringing in better players.

Get him out on loan and bring Fraser in on a free.

If you think iwobi is crap, but Fraser is a world beater. I think you need to stop watching football.

Both are nothing special.

Interesting that iwobi has 40 caps 7 goals for Nigeria at 24. A much better team than Scotland and has played for Arsenal and Everton

Fraser at 26 has 11 caps and 1 goal for Scotland and has played for Bournemouth.
Not everybody can be wrong

CM, CB, RM/RB.

If we are only bringing in 3 for the first team. Either going into next year with a new RM playing with Coleman/Kenny (maybe Sidibe loan?) or new RB with Walcott/Gordon

I think it depends who we get rid of. But I think we will end up Bringing in 5 players. RB, CB, 2x CM’s and another attacking player

I’ve never described Fraser as a world beater. I’ve described him as better than Iwobi and Bernard, which his premier league stats prove.

Iwobi’s 7 goals in 40 appearances for Nigeria aren’t that interesting tbh. It’s in the PL that counts.

What will be will be, I just hope I’m not having the same discussion this time next year, with someone telling me that the reason he is so crap on the left is because he’s really a number 10, despite seldom playing there.
