Seriously, I run this place a side gig/hobby and before updating the site with the news, I fact checked the source. Why can't the local paid media do the same?

They may well have done, but a non-story is better than no story from their point of view. Sadly the fact you do it as a hobby makes you more likely to be reliable. Mad, but that's the way it is.

Don’t think he’d come here anyway. He’d definitely want European football, but RS don’t want him, city don’t need him, he wouldn’t go united for obvious reasons. Wolves and leicester couldn’t afford his wages. Arsenal already have Ozil on a massive contract. So it just leaves spurs - but levy is the most prudent chairman there is.
