All you have to do is look.

How many times do you see players in trophy winning sides kicking off asking for money? Get new deals 100%. Ask for more money? Not really.

Look at the likes of Ozil, Luiz, Sanchez, De Gea... You just don't rock the boat when it's winning the race.

Cos he joined them 5 months ago and why would we need a smokescreen.

Im pretty sure the rules have changed now allowing players to play for 3 teams a year.

Perhaps we monitored him in South America and have seen him playing in Germany as evidence he can make the step up.

Alot of players who are highly rated in SA dont make the grade in Europe so his performances may have given him some comfort.

Also its not as if the club has actively told Leverkusen we are watching Bailey is it.

I think the better question is just why? As in why would they be doing a smokescreen for a player from the same club in a different position? I just don't get the logic.

Yep, we seem to be extending contracts of a few U23 players, if you're in the final year and haven't had the call you're probably on the way out.

It's good, rather have an U23 squad with great potential 18-20 year olds than championship winning 22 and 23 year olds with 15 Premier league benches between them.

You would think good, but who knows how the rest of his defensive game compares. He's not a standout tackler like Ndidi or Gana.

Saw us linked with Senesi from Feyenoord. From the little I've seen I'm not sure he is really good at anything.

Chukwueze from Villareal on the right however would be a wonderful signing, we were linked a while ago. Unfortunately he could go to any club in the world... fantastic talent.

He's been good since the restart but he mostly was not good up until then. I'd need a lot more evidence before spending money.
