So they haven’t formulated concrete plans for who to sign yet Until next week. Whilst I don’t believe that, there is a certain irony we have 1165 pages of speculation and they haven’t yet made a decision.

Obviously there's always stuff going on behind the scenes, managers will always give diplomatic statements like this whilst a season is still going on.

I would guess that meeting next week will just be a bit of a debrief on the season - work towards next season will already have been happening.

He would be hungry for it though.
I’d rather have that, than someone relatively established who is happy just to trouser a cushy 4 year deal from us.

I think he is better than walcott, so I wouldnt say no, depends on the fee. Also he has that knee injury, ruptured cruciate ligament, hes been out since March, not due back till September, so thats a bit of a risk, but if we dont have another RW in by the time he is back fit, he could be an option
