I'm in the hate Delph camp but thought he actually played OK last night so I'd probably keep him as a squad player

It's so easy and juvenile to "hate" a player from your own side. If you hate him goodness knows what you feel about your true enemies. Are you a grown adult or a teenager?

Delph may have his misgivings re his character but I don't think this should equate to hate but hey, I guess that's how some people tick. But you're right, he's a good player when fit and we're going to need him

Idle speculation on my part but a move for someone like Zaha would make sense if Kean goes. Richarlison and DCL options as a central striker and I think Zaha can play there too. Or there could be substance in the Milik links.

Your probably right hate is probably too much. You like and dislike players. I dislike rather than hate Delph. Don't see much in him but if he can play like he did last night, not great but did the basics right, always showed for the ball, then he can be a decent squad player.

This might sound controversial, but they are not that low. We havd 31 players. We have Simms pushing from the 23's. We have Tosun, if we just want "an option" who's going to play a handful of games, who we may not beable to move out. We may even secure a loan ourselves.

I want Kean to stay, but there is certainly flak in the squad to accomodate this.
