If carlo is this wonderful why the hell is he picking iwobi in our team plus giving Delph game time ahead of others. Just going back to last season we did lose in the fa cup to liverpool's B team . Maybe next season we will see an improvement if new players are got in.

Yeh, and Solksjaer's been playing with players most of whom he inherited. Management is not just about buying the best. It's also to do with making the best of what you've got. Ancelotti may be great at the former but what has he shown regards the latter?
Oh come on. Look at the squad Solksjaer inherited and what he's been able to add to it. Then compare it to ours. It's impressive that were only 15 points behind them. Carlo would've had Manu challenging City this season.

We are 2 quality players from being a top team. One of the best managers in the world is building a team and there are cryarses wanting it yesterday.

No doubt we're frustrating as hell and without doubt crap teams have worked out that the best way to defend against us is to give away the ball on the edge of their own box and watch us pass it backwards to Pickford, but give it time lads.
2 quality players away from being a top team ????? Lol.... are you sure you've been watching everton

25 actually, would have been his 26th game tonight had his calf not gone in the warm up. He’s played 22 of our 33 league gamesHe tr

We are usually overrun in midfield and in my opinion Gomes can only start if Allan and Doucoure are there with him otherwise he is a liability.

I think the lack of pace between Sigurdsson and Gomes is hurting us also.

I find it hard to understand Gomes starting ahead of Davies or even Delph when he is fit.
He almost did start the diabolic 3. Slow, slower and slowest. Slowest injured himself catching a slug!

They are just not good enough and way off to be honest. Mathematical they are close to European qualification but quality wise they are way off. Not sure money and new players will fix this. You only need to look at the RS .....they won the league last year but standards drop a small percentage in this competitive league and you quickly become an also ran. Could be a long time before we are competitive. This year was odd due to Covid and for that qualification to Europe was wide open. Next year if things are back to ‘normal’ we will really struggle with the current squad
Teams are not built overnight.
We signed good players last summer, let's see what happens this summer.

I don't understand why you say we would struggle next season if things are back to normal . We have suffered more than any other team with our home form because things are not normal.
Goodison is usually a fortress for Everton and hopefully can be again when fans return.

We will be no more at an advantage or disadvantage when things return to normal than anyone else.

So so so bad.

so bored watching this useless football.

one of the worst midfields in the league only ever want to pass backwards

we are 2 players away from being a big relegation favourite. Remember Sheffield got over 50 points last season. They also got (like Everton ) a terrible goal difference last season. Winning a lot of games by luck doesnt mean the same happens next season!
