I disagree with that, 2 of his players are out and the replacements are absolutely rubbish. Also harsh to blame the manager when defenders are having a nightmare.

Better at the end there. Wobes while being a target for the boo boys has done ok. We can be much more potent when we get our act together.

Carlo will tighten it up at half time but we need to carry a threat going forward.

When was the last time you watched the blues create as many chances as villa did there? Albeit the teams are level.

We are basically crap in defence, crap in midfield and crap up front and lucky not to be losing this game by 4 goals against the mighty Aston Villa at home.

I don't think even Carlo is capable of getting something out of three quarters of this squad tbh. We need nearly a whole new team bar a small minority.

in fairness Iwobi hasnt been that bad

But 'that bad' shouldn't be the standard?

For me, we'll have far more balance with 3 at the back (as bad as Holgate has been) because it can push Coleman and Digne up the pitch.

We then need someone to sit alongside Allan in midfield - so Davies on for Gomes.

Playing 3 at the back also pushes Gylfi forward so he's in the final third more like we saw v Spurs
