The amount of space Barkley/Watkins has had is incredible.

Allan should be told to sit, but it looks like they're all told to just play their own game.

Doesn't help when Gomes doesn't defend, win the ball, or help out.

Been more enjoyable to watch than most games this season tbh, usually bored to tears at this point.

yeah from a neutral point of view (and I’m becoming more neutral with every passing game) it has been more exciting than the usual tedious tripe. Villa get a lot of the credit for that though!

Well as we saw v Burnley - and should be seeing today - it's not worth the risk.

Davies and Allan should be starting every game together in there atm and we build from there (even if that is Iwobi at 10).

One thing with Iwobi is he can cover ground. So I don't think this idea that he's been unfairly treated out on the right is correct. He can run into the space - as he has been doing. It's not like Gylfi who, if he plays left, just doesn't have the pace to get about.

If we keep the same shape, I'd keep Iwobi on. But personally feel we're better switching and I don't think Iwobi fits that system.

We can't keep trying to play 1-0 every week.

He's going to do it this half now because it was open. We'll see.

Pickford may as well pump the ball long from goal kicks. We do not have the right player in Godfrey and Holgate to play out. They have been passing between each other then ending back with Pickford who then hits it long. Digne trying to play on the front foot is leaving acres of space on our left with Villa exploiting. Villa midfielders able to carry the ball through our midfield at will. We have been very lucky so far
