There are plenty of candidates for that title and at least Lampard had a very good spell at the end of last season, which kept us up.

On topic, forecasting match results is pretty much a calculated guess and I'm just hoping for the best with a bit more confidence
that we can do better than in our last few efforts against these.

Him and Mike Walker are the two main candidates.

Look at the records, he was a stain on the history of our club.

Are we assuming same side as Leeds ? I’m hoping villa’s slightly more offensive style gives us the opportunity to break in a similar style against arsenal but the continuing absence of Calvert-Lewin is a huge loss in terms of threat and playing style .

I hope we can sneak a couple of goals as I think we might need more than one , I’m encouraged Villa have apparently conceded more than a 1/3 of their goals from set pieces .

Unchanged for me..

Pickford

Coleman - Coady - Tarkowski - Myko

Iwobi
- Onana - Douc - Gana - McNeil

Maupay
It was quite apparent against Leeds, that Mc Neil's crosses where not being anticipated by Maupay or Iwobi. Both are not natural centre forwards. If Mc Neil plays ,I think Simms slow as he is must be the more effective option plus gives their defence more to occupy them and create more space
