This Brum game is stupidly big. We win and we actually have a season, we lose and meh.

Sadly we do seem to be awful at matches where something is actually on it. So we'll probably lose, but then it's us so we might win. There's equally just as big a chance that it could be a 8-8 draw, that's just the season we are in.

Really want United to do the Kopites over tomorrow. More than ever in fact. Then we will see what we are made of.

Oh yeah Chico, great match preview again. I lol'd twice and couldn't be bothered to explain to the mrs why.

Everton win,ha i see Steve Round says Tim Cahill has a chance for this game and neville has a slight strain hopefully not as bad as it looked when he walked off [or tried to],anyway 2-0 or 2-1 to us

So we all want the mancs to win tomorrow, then the carrot is that we would go above them with a victory.

We had the carrot to leapfrog Bolton and choked. We also had the carrot of an FA Cup QF and blew it. I'm starting to think we don't like carrots!

In keeping with how our season has panned out thus far, I'll say a 1-2 defeat in this one unfortunately. Probably a drab performance too.

Birmingham were really poor today. And I mean really poor. Not their usual selves.

That said, this is a match we could easily lose.

If we turn up like we did today, then we'll win 3-1.

If we turn up like we did Reading, then they'll win 2-0.

That's just how we're rolling right now.

It seems to me that the reason we seem so poor in the games that we should win is that we just don't have the pace or the guile to break down teams who just sit back with 10 men behind the ball when we are in possession.

Who knows perhaps if Arteta has a similar game to the one he had against the skunks yesterday he may be the difference.

Hoping for 3 points but would not be surprised with none

Brum rested Ferguson, Gardner, Larsson and Zigic because of knocks. Dann and Hleb are definitely out. Johnson has been struggling with a calf strain. Hopefully they're emotionally and physically spent after their cup heroics and, if players such as Saha have a good day at the office, they'll be lambs to the slaughter.

A tough game for us this one. Our defence will have to be at its best. Moyes will play one up front for this one too, hope its Saha. See how we get on then change to a 4-4-2 and bring becks on. We must stop that giant they have from getting anywhere near the ball and not give away stupid free kicks where they can launch balls into the box.

IMO, the first 30 mins will be crucial. We will come out firing and the crowd will be up for it. If we get a goal, then Birmingham will open up and will have a comfortable victory.

However if we don't score earlyish, then the crowd get nervous and impatient, the players choke and the game finishes 1-0 to Brum.

Anyway who knows. If Arteta plays outwide again I think we should be ok.
