Like most, I'm inclined to think the Jekyll of Saturday will be repalced with Hyde on Wednesday - but given that we actually won in the PL after conceding 1st for the first time in, what, 2 years or something? - maybe the corner has finally been turned.

I would have more chance of predicting the winning lottery numbers on Wednesday than predicting what we'll do against Brum.

We could thump them 3 or 4 nil, or lose 1-0. Even a 0-0 is possible. God alone knows.

We're def not a team to bet on or against.

CT! Where have you been?! Good to see you (y)

I think we'll probably win, draw or lose. Nailed on.

We need this win to get over .500 for the first time this year (a Yank way of looking at things). Big psychological barrier from my point of view.

I think we do them 1-0 with Arteta scoring.

As said i think everton will win and the closer we get to this game the more Confident i am becomming that we will win, although as we know supporting Everton you become an Emotional Wreck,up and down from one week to the next,52 games and counting since we last lost 2 consecutive prem games now [november 09],maybe that newcastle win has made me more confident than we should be we will see.

So looks like Neville is out then. Heitinger has to step up and fill the gap in CM. This is his chance to really make a name for himself. Do you guys think he is capable of doing it?

I would seriously rather have Hibbo as defensive midfielder than Heitinga. I can't understand how someone who has come through the ranks at Ajax and played in a World Cup final can be so tactically naive as to bomb forward in support of the striker when he's supposed to be protecting our back four. He doesn't close people down, he has no awareness, he's not as strong in the tackle as he should be and he 'slips' over whenever there's an aerial challenge to be contested. I was delighted when we first got him, but I've been very, very disappointed. There are kids on the local park who have more idea of discipline and of sacrificing personal glory for the good of the team than him. He only seems interested in scoring a goal. I now understand why Athletico were willing to take a loss on him. If we get a reasonable offer, I'd be more than happy to let him go. I would only play him as a last resort or to keep his transfer value up.
