Osman MOTM for me, we wouldn't have scored if we played til this time tomorrow, can't remember Foster having a worthwhile save to make, should have brought Baxter on instead of Anchovie as Vic offers nothing, I just can't see how he gets a game?????

Weeeeeeeeeelllll....we'll have to grin and bear it I suppose.

When you get rid of 1 creative midfielder and dont get a replacement in aka Pienaar...and your other creative player gets injured..then you're bound to be a bit screwed.

Credit to Ossie for putting in a real midfield engine performance. Really filled the Pienaar role in this game, i think. Showed passion and character on the pitch, more so than Heitinga and Rodwell who played such a negative game today.

Saha's movement and work deeper down in the pitch suits us fine and he does a good job at it. He is obviously a decent target man but if we look at our squad he's one of very few options left to give some edge to the final third.

Distin had another great game. Best £5m Moyes has spent since he bought Bainesy. I love watching him take his first two-three touches, i'm always surprised by his body faints and stepovers. Got speed too, and didn't do anything obviously wrong today. I think Jags was good today too, but his range of passing is embarassing. He only sent one offensive ball along the ground today, in the dying minutes, and it was intercepted.

Hibbo was decent, methinks. Looks aggressive on the overlap, combined well with Coleman. Who was great. A little firdgety, but really good compared to the rest of the team. Only Seamus and Ossie have any actualy creativity and guile to bring to the table. Saha and Beckford did their jobs, but not on the same level as the two former.

Another shoddy draw against a shoddy team. We usually have quite a few of these in any season, but this is exceptionally frustrating. Odd how everything seems to be standing still, isn't it? Actually, we're in equilibrium. Standstill. Balance, kind of. Mathematically, at least, look at our numbers in the table:

pos. g w d l gf ga dif pts
10th Everton 28 8 12 8 37 37 0 36

If we could possibly get more mid-table than this, we'd turn into Fulham. The only team who has more draws than us. And no-one wants to be a cottager.

I cant wait for the season to be over.... only thing is that next season dosen't promise better

I think Jack should grasp games like these....its obvious to anyone that he has the potential, but there were several times in the game where he would have been better served driving at the Birmingham defence...Have had enough of the side to side attacking we do which ultimately goes nowhere...

On a seperate note , Bainesy must be worth a few bob now, honestly believe he should be in the England side ahead of Cashley cole now. Always a danger.

Any more injuries and we will be playing kids. Despite what some on here think, we ARE still in a relegation battle. The possibility of having to play kids does not fill me with confidence.

glad you are/is happy with it mate! night night!

Don´t assume Fozzy.Am not mate . The Quality left the field after 9 minutes. Bily should have come on then , ect......could go on but can´t be harrised. But 7 from 9 will do for now. Now am off .

I don't think we played that badly to be fair just once again we were found lacking where it matters, osman man of the match for me only my opinion like and thought hibbert and rodwell put a good shift in. We always knew we would struggle when a team comes and parks the bus its been the same all season we play better when teams attack us

cuz (just saying as its an option) maybe moyes is well board with it all too and cant be arsed!!!! or he just isnt able to!

Moyes looked seriously pi$$ed off. Don't reckon he's bored. As much as I've admired him perhaps like others have said, other managers have figured his style out and he doesn't know how to tweak the tactics in order get results. He certainly doesn't seem to be able to change tactics mid game.

I dunno just thinking out loud, so fed up!

Predictable result

Yet again we fail to step up the challenge and we perform poorly against a poor team. Okay we lost Mikel who was really starting to find his best form but still we concede the first goal which always puts us in a tailspin.
In the mailbox yesterday I pointed out the size of Hibbert as being a weakness for teams to exploit and sure enough Mcleish had done his homework. Pity Moyes couldn't do the same regarding Stephen Carr. Poor management yet again as we have conceded many times because of this problem over the years.
