1-1 and I'll be really curious to see how Holden does against us.

Me too Bill. I've actually been enjoying watching Stu play. Chico is right on as well. Unless they completely fall asleep, Bolton will give us a good game.

Knight has been particularly good in the air and could cause Cahill problems. On the other side I think Distin can handle Davies with his size. Holden and Muamba can be pesky but we should be able to play through it no problem. Keep it on the ground and out play them would be my call.

Me three! He's been on fire of late - and the American media are starting to love him (I think they are planting the seeds for Stu as LD's successor).

With that said, is it okay that I hope that Stu has a decent game but that we still stick it to Bolton? :P

EDIT: Oh, and the table is so squished in the middle due to this morning's results that a win here will mean a ton. COYB!

i Want to see us try
Mucha
Nev-Jags-Distin-baines
Fellaini(if fit)/hiets
Baxter/coleman-Biladinov-Gueye
Rodwell
Saha
give the others a rest save em for arnsenal and that is stil;l a quality lineup

1-1 for me we will find this game tough.
I would go 4-4-2 and attack them but after saying that our strikers are struggling to score so im not so sure now.

Any news on Pienaar's injury?

If he's out, i say bring Gueye on. Home debut, midweek game, injection of pace on the wing, yeah that kid's got it coming wednesday. We've won and kept clean sheets in the last two home games, i am praying for the same this week. The old lady is to be a stalwart this season, so says i. Also looking forward to the duel of the Cahills up front, Heitinga scoring a belter and completing 90 minutes, and Kevin Davies getting booked.

We usually do quite well against Bolton - and I reckon we'll be fired up after not finishing off Blackpool when we should have.

I'm going for a 2-0 win, and I'll be mental and back Bilyaletdinov to get one of them ;)

I'd give Billy a start. There not a better game than this to play him and at home he'll feel confident. Their full backs don't go much forward anyway so I have a hunch that he'll come really good in this one. If Pienaar's fit then I'd bring Billy on in the second half for more than 20 minutes...depends on the situation

would hope that team is not put out, would get asses spanked, saha doesnt look intrested, rodwell aint fit, billy is weak at the best of times so would struggle against boltons physical approach. wouldnt mind seeing baxter make apperance lat on off the bench.

Did you just give a lineup you'd like to see us try and then shoot it down in flames yourself? Saved a few posters here some typing there then.
