i Want to see us try
Mucha
Nev-Jags-Distin-baines
Fellaini(if fit)/hiets
Baxter/coleman-Biladinov-Gueye
Rodwell
Saha
give the others a rest save em for arnsenal and that is stil;l a quality lineup

would hope that team is not put out, would get asses spanked, saha doesnt look intrested, rodwell aint fit, billy is weak at the best of times so would struggle against boltons physical approach. wouldnt mind seeing baxter make apperance lat on off the bench.

Quality that kidda

So....same team as Saturday for tonight? Felli could be fit, can't see him getting any minutes though

I'd like to see Bily get more of a shout tonight, rather than 10 mins. Think he gets a bit more involved in home games...

3 points tonight please boys

With injury to Jlloyd Samuel Bolton is playing Paul Robinson as LB and he's IMO one of the worst players on Premier League. We need to exploit it, and hopefully if Coleman play, he will go past him just as easily as he did against Blackpool.

Also Bolton doesn't have player like Charlie Adam in the middle, it's a game where Moyes should start Fellaini in midfield, or even consider Rodwell (probably impossible due to lack of fitness) as a partner for Arteta

Off the back off a veritable roller-coaster of a game (intended) we have an in form Bolton coming to Goodison on Wednesday, which is a mid week novelty match this season since were not in Europe and [Poor language removed] ourselves in the Carling Cup.

Blackpool was a weird one with pros and cons, many of which have been bashed to death in the match thread so we'll surmise that its an opportunity missed. For all their gung-ho approach you'd consider that Bolton will provide a stiffer test than the Tangerines.

Fresh from a deserved 4-2 home victory over Spurs they won't be short of confidence either. Coyle has assembled a decent tidy side in under a year there, who can play a bit too and don't have too many gaping weaknesses. It's all well and good looking at the contrasting starting elevens and seeing we have the better players but that needs to manifest itself into a team that, well, wins games.

If Blackpool was the Las Vegas of Lancashire then Bolton is the Mogadishu of the same county with all the trimmings. You can expect lots of poorly inked tattoos, male ear rings and minty trabs with the laces too tight and big tied bows. Piss poor stereotyping aside, they're onto a good thing while they have Coyle in charge and will provide no easy game for anyone. Although there is a scrum of teams separated by three points it's them who are sat in fifth place as I write this. Has anyone ever noticed how long Coyle's teeth are though? He sometimes has that look of Jack Russell when it's teeth are showing and you're undecided if its doing a dog smile, or its about to savage your face.

Were six unbeaten and I doubt Moyes will change the side for this one, Saha aside there is not enough (fit) quality on the bench that you could see improving us. It was a disappointment to concede two soft goals after looking much tighter but other than that the defence looked good enough. Pienaar and Coleman looked dangerous on either side of a midfield that is a bit up and down, a good case for Fellaini to return soon enough. Heitinga looks comfortable, until his predictable 75th minute withdrawal, but alongside Arteta there is just something missing. Cahill and Yakubu look better up front lately, even if it is nice to have Saha ready to take over when we need some impetus/huff around their box without scoring.

So, at least a game to fill the mid week vacuum. Some of you will have been looking at three games in a week and working out how many points out of nine. We could do with a win here otherwise the game with Arsenal on Sunday will start to look sinisterly like a week that promised so much but delivered so little.

Were under the floodlights at Goodison, get into them Everton.

Great preview. Just had a moment where I remembered I'd not read it yet and buzzed.

Lee Chung Yong to star from them but I think we will win 22-1.

It's going to be tight, but as you say, it's under the lights at Goodison so we should be confident.

3pts an absolute must tonight. We simply cannot afford to drop points here if we want to be in the mix for European football at the end of the season. This is a good squad of players, but they have not hit anything like top form so far. Time to step up to the plate.

Has to be a convincing win if this ship is going places. Weeknight at home under the lights - The Old Lady should be an absolute fortress. The GSE alone should suck in at least one Everton goal.

Howard stays error free, Coleman shreds the right side, Yak and Cahill keep plugging and when he comes on, Saha makes up for the horrible miss against Blackpool.

Everton 2, Bolton 0.

Gents i know they cant be posted openly so I would really appreciate it if someone could PM me with a working link for tonights game?

2-0 Cahill, Saha

coyb

I fear that we may not have a link tonight to watch the game as arsenal, chelsea, man utd, [Poor language removed] are all in action at the same time. However, If someone pops up with a link then kindly do PM me.

I'm going for a 2-0 Everton win(y)

donning my asbestos suit; I've got a horrible feeling we're gonna slip up here.

Hope we stuff them royally since I've always hated these scutters ever since watching the last game of the 97-98 season in a uni common room with a load of bolton supporters. They did not take it well when we stayed up and they dropped.

Very dangerous game here. Bolton aren't as shabby as they used to be with some very talented players.

We should be strong enough but won't be easy. Any sort of win will do me.

This won't be an easy game. Bolton look a decent side this year and a good shout for a top 10 place, and we're not playing them at a good time in terms of their strong early season form.

It's the kind of game however we should be winning if we're to have a good season. I think we will. 2-1.
