All of you that are saying Anthony Gordon is greedy for shooting on sight - we have been crying out for our forwards to shoot on sight! Now we've got someone who does all you can do is moan. You've got more chance of scoring a goal if you shoot at it than you do if you just pass the ball to someone else.

Fair enough.

I admit myself I get a bit pissed off with players wacking the ball in to the stands, when they could pass to a team mate. But it's a problem that's been around for a few years. Lukaku and Mirallas. DCL and Richie. If they're going to have a go at least get it on target.

Wasn’t great at times, but they didn’t trouble us at all. Set up in the first half wasn’t working, glad he changed it at the half. Shame on Patterson has he looked alright, but Kenny was having a slightly better game at that point. I gave Kenny the MOTM, credit where it’s due, he’s been a useful player for us under Lampard. Apart from his Goals Rondon wasn’t up to much, but two very good finishes. Richy’s disallowed goal was ridiculous, it looked like it just bounced up and hit him.

Main thing is, we’re through and some players got a rest. Palace will be a hard game though. If we manage to get there, looks like it’s gonna be Prem teams all the way.

Never thought I'd see the day that we'd be voting the Salmon motm

I gave it to him because he has had nothing but stick all season, some of it deserved because he should have been fitter a lot sooner than he was but he got the two goals worked hard, shielded the ball well and used the ball well at time, if not Rondon I’d have given it to Jonjoe Kenny but “ Super Ron, Super Ron, Super Ronnie Rondon “ gets my vote.

They didn't trouble us at all. Just the initial game plan wasn't the right structure and tactics, but I don't blame Frank Lampard for trying that because we just do not have enough bodies to play a 3 midfield or risk Richy starting as SS (who drops deep to mid to collect the ball).

Glad we got the win, without too much trouble.
