…..can’t remember us getting behind opposition full backs for an age. We continually hit diagonal crosses into the box, we rarely pull a ball back in the top third.

Totally right - ridiculous switch left us wide open. Benched Godfrey who fought at city. 5 at the back can quickly turn offensive if your full back push on and you can play 2 upfront (maybe full backs not good enough though!)we shouldn’t of changed what worked
Papa Shango? Christ! It's progressive though, its dire tedious stuff, its not like we were under Martinez where we were conceding silly goals from overplaying and attacking too much (Well tonights goals were daft of course) we set up defensively and play negatively and still get humped.
I'm fuming at the fact that after watching the first 45 minutes we were sent out to do more of the same.
and that's not just under Lampard…..can’t remember us getting behind opposition full backs for an age. We continually hit diagonal crosses into the box, we rarely pull a ball back in the top third.

Nope. I actually agree. Brighton aren't Man City but they play ball. We should've swollowed our pride and played the same system. Gotta be 5 at the back from now on
