It was not even that Toxic really, everyone looked stunned. The Park End and Gwladys had started leaving well before the end. Who is responsible for the fitness of our players, all of them look slow and unfit.
I read some were that when our players were running back to defend the ref got back quicker. Why do they do all those pre match exercises on the pitch, they must be knackered come kick off time.

Who is your choice for next manager?

Will he get any more out of the players than Lampard?
That's the 6 million dollar question. Who can come in , and turn things around? You would need to be nostradamus to figure that one out.
But is sticking with Lampard the answer? The guy is losing matches , hand over fist. This has to stop. Will many supporters be looking to stick with Lampard , if he takes us down. Cause I wouldn't trust him to get us straight back up. And he will still get his pay off , no matter what happens. May as well pay him now and give some one else a chance. Someone who just might set us up , not to lose. Be hard to beat.

So who would I have in. Sean Dyche. See what he can do. Most likely won't be pretty , but can't be any worse than last night. Nothing really pretty about that rubbish.
Dyche might work. Or he might not work out. Who knows ? But is this Lampard experiment working out?. If those defeats to Bournemouth , Wolves and Brighton are anything to go by , nothing is really working out.

And it seems that Lampard doesn't know how to change things around. If he does know , then I wish that he would bloody well get a move on.
And yes we do have some useless players. But who trains and then picks those players. Try something different. Try anything.
Sorry about the ramble. But who really knows , what is for the best. But I really don't see Lampard turning this around. How many more hapless defeats , before people realise the Lampard is not for us.
Our board is also useless. Changed need to be made there also. And our next manager will most likely be just a quick fix. Just get these players playing tight. Not collapsing like last night. Get some pride back.
Tall order. But we have to take that chance.

Last small gripe at Lampard , why does he not change things at half time? What is his problem with using subs.

Dyche guided Burnley to two promotions to the Premier League in three seasons, the second following relegation back to the Championship at the end of 2014–15. He played a much more attractive style in the Championship. They topped the Championship with 93 points, 72 goals for, 35 against. Two seasons later, Burnley qualified for Europe. However, they hardly had the resources to succeed in the Premier League and Europe too.

If you analyse the game the amount of times the players don’t know what to do with the ball in possession and simply look for iwobi is ridiculous

Iwobi is constantly moving and running into space and is the easy ball because no one else is doing anything. The whole team at the moment is completely reliant on iwobi and what he does with the ball. I guess it’s no suprise he ended up winning us a pen at the end.
went for Iwobi as Motm - based on him not screwing up as bad as everyone else. Still trying at the end too.
Davies, DCL went awol.
Defense was pulled apart - Gana was trying to be the defensive midfield - can't remember a Davies tackle, not even one.
The full backs got no cover because Gana was trying to be everywhere and MacNeil and Grey offered so little defensively.
Lampard has to stop playing a 433 if he doesn't have the players available (With Onana, Gana and Iwobi I think he can but we dont have a fourth midfielder who can play in that way it seems).
The back four will get the grief they deserve for slipping over and losing their man but they were made to look awful by an inexperienced and pedestrian BHA forward line.
Should Frank stay he has to go back to defensive solidity in all games before worrying about winning. Thats what a new manager would do.

Who knows if Dyche would be a good fit for Everton? Who knows if our bunch of players can play to his systems?. Who knows who he would favour , improve , out of our current players. Who knows who he would bring in? Could he see weaknesses , and sort those weaknesses out? Can he hopefully spend money wisely.
Would love to see Lampard win a bunch of matches. Turn this slump around. Get us to midtable. But that just isn't happening . So it's Dyche for me. Let's see what he can do.
Great summary on Dyche , by the way. Forgot that Burnley actually qualified for europe.
Sorry for waffling on about this . But everything is a gamble at this club.
Maybe everybody at Everton are just too nice. Maybe a hardcase like Dyche just might shake things up , hopefully.

We need new owners - end of ....

Watching Brighton having shots before the game, every one of them went in. This is the difference. Quality players who can finish.
The way we played last night an amatuer team would have beaten us .......we don't look fit the city game took it out of the poor players - they plodded around as if they were punch drunk ......

We need new owners - end of ....
That would help.matters . But then I thought that when Moshiri came onboard. A few wins will do me for now though. Just a few wins. Get some points.

I don't know Joey. Can no manager just get us to play like Brentford, Brighton or even Fulham. I d settle for that , for now.
But you just know that if we poached Silva back to Everton , that everything would go pear shaped very quickly.
Anyhow , new owners might help. But not with Kenwright still there.

One of the great mysteries of this world. And yes I know that there are more important things to worry about. But what is wrong with Everton. What is wrong at this club. I give up.

If Frank stays, he just needs to play 5-4-1. That's all. With a gameplan that isn't pretty but works. You can then go into the market and target the players you need to fit your system

2 x Big/Tall striker types (Weghorst, Giroud)
2 x Wingers with pace and can cross types (Coman, Goku)

1\2 a billion spent on players 8 different Managers DOF etc & just look what we are left with ?
We look like relegation fodder ATM .....but a few wins & it changes hopefully...

Villa sacked Gerrard after 11 games this season with 0.82 points per match (9 points total). Their new manager, Emery, has got the same amount of points from just 4 games. Villa are now comfortably mid-table

Lampard has been in charge for 18 league games this season and has got us just 15 points (0.83 ppm). I know that there are teams below us but this is relegation form.

Changing manager doesn’t guarantee a recovery (both Wolves and Southampton below us used the World Cup break to change manager and have yet to see the benefit).

Stick or twist.

Either way, we are in serious trouble.
It's unrealistic to expect an immediate and sustained improvement. If expect to see Wolves improve over the next few weeks and months. Southampton have taken more of a risk.
