But we literally had him and he didn’t offer us more attacking threat. Scoring pens and delivering corners isn’t really offering a threat.

He scored 4 league goals from open play in his final season here. If one of our central midfielders manages that this season I'd have a heart attack.

And I'm not saying he was particularly good for us. It just shows how poor this lot are when it comes to kicking the ball in the net.
