Davies had a decent stint under Carlo of playing as a DM in a 433. Him sitting with Iwobi and Gana's engine in front could work. Anyways, glad we aren't going 5 at the back because I think we should be wanting a lot more of the ball here.

We had 6 last season, and scored 5. If we’d let Iwobi take them all he’d have a similar scoring record to Sigurdsson.

James is a whole different story. We just couldn't afford that sort of contract. He was a luxury player (a good one at that) but the decision to bring him here was a terrible short sighted short term decision.

If we are paying someone that kind of money they absolutely cannot have a poor injury record.

If he'd stayed fit for about 2-3 more games - I know, he didn't - then we'd have probably got Europa League, and maybe even been close to CL.
