Dare I say Sigurdsson was the only midfield player we have had in years who could guarantee you 5 goals minimum a season.

But when you don't look for productivity from the midfielders you recruit, then its extremely stupid to not prioritise goalscorers in attack.

Without going into it too much because obviously it's not the club's fault what happened, but yes - or at least if we count James as a forward.
