It was clear after ten minutes that Patterson was in big trouble and nothing was done to give him support.
The goal was always going to come from that wing.
Iwobi was running around a lot but does nothing, the only time he made a positive run at the end we got a penalty.

It was a shambles start to finish and they had no idea what to do.

They could have brought Godfrey on after ten minutes and it would have closed down the space on our right hand side, but he should have started anyway.

Bad tactics cost us then?

You think they’d have a software program that could calculate that, if picking Patterson, could work out who his potential opponents would be based on the opposition injury list and form for starting line ups and the potential pros and cons involved in that decision (research).

Software error?

Sam worked out a lot of the the players were ? so he worked out a game plan that made us hard to beat and get points. I agree he was treated bad, it was just sad he had to play the awful style because of the dross he had to work with. But I’d take that style no to save us from relegation.
100% like against city we weren’t the best side but we had fight if ur not playing well u need to fight we had nothing tonight

It was not even that Toxic really, everyone looked stunned. The Park End and Gwladys had started leaving well before the end. Who is responsible for the fitness of our players, all of them look slow and unfit.

Well said mate
Totally agree I really like Lampard, faith is going, I always look to see if we have a plan or a style of play, we have neither. We are absymal on set pieces for and against. But look at the managers we have had since Moyes, We have fairly backed them in the market. Silva proved before and after Everton that he is a good manager, Ancellotti had us super organized.

Until recruiting gets better and the decision makers at the club change, we could have Pep or Klopp and I think the results wouldn't be much different. We always had a really good young player coming through the ranks. We have nothing now.

It's soul destroying
