Not a great performance, but good enough, job done. Let's just hope the lads were saving their energy for next weekend.

nice to see big nev make an appearance

Looks like one of Frankie goes to Hollywood

If it wasn’t a penalty it was a dive. Either way it would be controversial so should have air time in my opinion. I’m fairly certain it was a pen but if not hold my hands up

They didn’t show Paterson’s or camerasa chances either
Our twenty-minute highlights reel didn't show it either, so I can only presume that it wasn't a penalty; I couldn't see it from my seat either.

Honestly? I hope we do go down. Not buying this hype about the prem being the best league in the world. The championship is such an entertaining league with proper football clubs and fans. I hate playing the big 6 and don’t see the enjoyment of it.

Are Everton really that much better than West Brom, Sunderland or Norwich? None of us have won the prem in its current format.

Good grief. Stick to rugby. Please.

....couple of points;

Sigurdsson took up a great position for his goal, but those who go the match will notice how often he hits the penalty spot when we break. It takes immense desire and hard work to repeatedly do that and yesterday he got his reward.

When Sigurdsson had an effort cleared off the line in the 2nd half, Mina was alongside him in a central goalscoring position. Loved seeing him do that. Very encouraging.

I honestly thought the player went down thinking there was going to be contact,and for me there was none or hardly any

Thought we were not at our brilliant best,i thought we deserved to win overall,and still should have scored a few more,but thought that injury time for Cardiff was about to level the game up,but best of luck for the rest of the season,and i think you will beat wolves friday myself,stick around here mate as theres quite a few other fans here from other teams

Ahh that old Welsh stereotype that we all love rugby.

Funny story that Cardiff have won more trophies than Everton since the Prem inception. Considering I’ve seen my club from premiership to league 2 I’d say I’d know more about the entertainment value of the football league.

When Villa came down most of their fans were stating how refreshing being in the championship was.

Cheers mate some good discussions on here. Everton definitely deserved to win but thought the ref was certainly a homer.

I was most impressed by lookman when he came on and can’t understand why he doesn’t start?
