Don't rest Lukaku yet, it's early days in the season. Start him, but bring Eto'o on earlier than in Thursdays game.

Same with Atsu, bring him on later to introduce to team.

Coleman Jagielka Stones Baines

Mccarthy Barry

Mcgeady Naismith Atsu

Eto'o

Think Rom will be more effective coming from the bench against tiring palace defenders imo as he looked knackered in the first half against wolfsburg

Against Swansea I would play a 2nd string side despite me being a big believer of us playing a strong 11 in the league cup most times

Howard
Hibbert Alcaraz Distin (if fit) Baines

Besic Gibson

Atsu Osman Pienaar (if fit)

Eto'o

I'd like to see the same team against Palace the more I think about it, you've always got Swansea to give the complete second string a run out.

Eto'o behind the striker could be very tasty though.

Would love to see Eto'o behind lukaku been saying it since seeing that lovely through ball to mirallas, I think he would supply alot of service to lukaku and has just as much pace/ability as Naismith has in that position to nick a few goals himself

I've noticed the way we play, it's the attacking mid who actually gets most of the chances. Lukaku's only chances this season are ones he's fashioned for himself by getting half a yard/Ollson mistake. If Eto'o is in there to play through balls Lukaku will score plenty more.

I want us to erase the struggles from last season against CP with a decisive win. Every win in EPL counts. Our guys need to keep the momentum going.

I like Eto'o coming on after 60 minutes, especially after a couple of Lukaku goals. I think it's time we see some more of Atsu, Besic, and Gibson...

Agree mate I worry Rom will start getting frustrated by it, I think bobby needs to set us up more to play lukaku in more
