He was horrendous Dave. Desperate to dish out yellows and give Zaha free kick after free kick, yet showed significant lenience to at least two bootable fouls on Richarlison. The penalty was softer than soft, and to ignore Zaha’s Persistent diving
He let us off very early by not sending off Richarlison for his clip on Sakho. I guarantee you that many refs would have pulled a straight red card out for that.

The Palace pen he got spot on, and the Richarlison one was too soft to give. He had a good game. No one involved in that match or the dugouts were complaining about him. That speaks volumes.

Just saw on MOTD. Disapointing for us but no real complaints. Everton due a pen from Tomkins wrestle on Ricarlson. Things will get worse for us in the short term (Arse, Chelsea, Spurs and Man U next 4) but we have a decent enough squad. Kouyate header goes in,Luka doesn't miss, small margins.
Anyhow, well in lids.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if you get six points (or more) from that lot, you can expect all of them sides to invite the counter-attack.

It's cause we won.

Richarlison was never a red. It was barely an event.

They got a penalty. Soft but correct. We didn't get a penalty. Clear but a poor decision.

He's not very good Taylor. Extremely fussy and thinks he's a celebrity with his constant need to be involved in the action.

How was the penalty 'soft'?! Coleman took Zaha's standing leg away from underneath him. Clear as day a penalty.

Christ Dave, if that had have been a red there'd have been a riot - and he knew it.

No intent at all. Hence why it was only a free-kick.

Tomkins charge on Richarlison (from which they both got hurt) was as bad.

I don't thin Taylor was bad (relatively speaking), but stop acting like we got lucky with him. We didn't. But, it's the consistency you ask for and he wasn't consistent with his decisions (Zaha did three clear fouls (shirt pulls) yet didn't get booked - Gueye did one shirt pull and got booked). I'm not saying it's a conspiracy, it's just not good enough.

TWICE he looks at where Sakho is.

Why are you excusing an action like that? He's almsot certain to get a red again this season - and no wonder if he's not being read the riot act on it.

Twice he looked where Sakho was because he was going for the ball.

He did not swing his elbow. He jumped, just like Sakho did.

There was no swing. No intent to move his arm into Sakho. You're allowed to look at an opposition player.

What's he watching Sakho for? He should have eyes on the flight of the ball.
