Who else in our team would have scored the goals he has?

Whoever would have been playing instead of him?

Who else in the team would have delivered the ball for him with the accuracy of Lucas Digne? And who else would have released Digne if it wasn't James?

Total hypotheticals. Yes DCL has banged us a lot of goals this year, but he plays in a system that is designed to tee him up for a tap in from 6 yards out. It's not like he's created the goals himself is it? Taking a basic look at where the goals have been scored from, you could argue that pretty much anyone would have scored those goals!

No doubt that he's a great player and is vitally important to us. But to suggest we are a one man team is a bit OTT isn't it

That shot from 50 yards out, who was that against?

One of the worst things about yesterday is again so many results went for us, very similar to the west ham game when 8 or 9 results over the previous days went for us [bar man utd last min win v wolves], then we did what we did v west ham

I've said it before. But you can make serios money on gauging the threads and figuring out if we will win or lose. This thread was been positive going into the game. Every single match where its gotten unusually positive (for us) we lose. Every single 'all Hope is lost' we win. I don't think there's been a game that hasn't bucked that trend except maybe our third game when everyone was buzzing with the two wins and we looked great.

I thought I'd feel better this morning, but it feels like S***

On another note, I dont konw where we put this but I hope we're not involved in Anti-Klopp hate. I'm wondering if while his mother has been deteriorating he didn't bring the fire and focus to the reds and that's partly why they've gone down in recent weeks. Hopefully we behave with grace and dignity online.

And the same for Carlo. With Koeman and Silva, we always thought that we can forgive bad results and decisions if we are generally moving in the right direction. There are loads of pieces of evidence that we are.
- Excellent signings (here just cos of Carlo)
- Better performances
- INdividual improvements of many players - young and older ones
- Confidence
- Gradual reduction of 'Everton, That' performances

So we have to keep supporting. Also happy that bernard got some love online

It was disheartening watching us break up our own attacking play and seeing the ball going from the edge of the Fulham box and ending up being passed all the way back to the edge of our own. Made me appreciate even more the job Dominic Calvert-Lewin does in finding space for himself and giving our players someone to aim for upfront.
