'Nearly' leads to defeat as proved today. Don't get me wrong....we played OK we created chances but when you haven't the personal to finish those chances then the inevitable will happen. We haven't addressed our main problem for a few years and even when DCL is back he is not prolific enough but he does help the team play better. We need a striker that will play more than half a season with just an ounce of nous

i’m with you they’re mate

Just back in from the game, and just a massive feeling of deja vu, we can't afford to squander that amount of decent chances as as soon as we go a goal behind the whole stadium knows we ain't getting back in to in. Deflated.

I think the nervousness of the fans didn’t help today, it permeated the team and collectively we could have done more.

Its the first game of the season....acute nauseousness of the fans might be a better diagnosis. We could have done no more....apart from sending on Jimmy Martin for Maupay or the St Johns Ambulance to replace any of the rest of the pathetic shower.

Starting new season where we left off last season.

Never mind injuries criminal incompetence to play Keane and Maupay, well done Seans.

Where is DCL ?

Can Dyche please stop talking about positives.

This is not Burnley. There are no positives when you lose 1 nil at home to a woeful side like Fulham who were playing for a draw

Tell your owner and DOF to get you strikers and stop talking rubbish about positives. Today was another in a long list of recent Everton embarrassments.

Wofeful is a bit harsh but I get your sentiment. Fulham at home has to be the type of game we win if we want to stay away from another relegation battle.

I know it’s gutting to come away from that game with nothing. We were miles better than Fulham, but we all know if you don’t take your chances it bites you. Feel sorry for maupay - confidence is shot to pieces but he’s just not a striker who can play up front on his own.

Onana needs to offer more - garner was very good, I wouldn’t have taken him off.

I’m not getting too down, we’ve played well worse and won but I can’t be having Keane & maupay in the starting 11 to many more times this season.

Dobbin, danjuma and the new kid have to come in and Branthwaite must be thinking wtf.
