Missed chances again cost us.
I thought in parts we played quite well and the way we are creating chances offers some sort of hope I guess
I felt it was probably one of our better performance we've played for a while, bar the standout games likes Arsenal and Brighton.

The number of chances we made, including quality ones, is far above what we've done for a while, but for whatever reason we simply didn't convert them.

People will bemoan Maupay, but what about Doucouré and Patterson? Even Iwobi.

If we do not sign a first choice striker i.e. one to replace DCL not back him up, we are in severe danger of relegation. 3 precious points thrown away today due to a total dereliction of duty by the club in not signing anyone and starting with Maupay. Third year on the run we are all on pins waiting to see if a complete crock can actually play a match every now and again.

Inappropriate Language
Just a complete disgrace that we haven’t gone out again for the 3rd/4th transfer window and sorted our biggest problem area.

We are going in to the season again without a recognised fit striker…. Please no one come back to me saying that Maupay is.

By the time we get someone in again we will be 3-4 games in and still several weeks off that player getting up to speed.

Really do not understand it…. Everyone can see except for the idiots who run the club.

Here is to another very long season and May as well re open the relegation thread.

I for one will be celebrating every result against the likes of Luton, Burnley, Sheffield….

We will likely be bottom end of August now and we are going to struggle to move ourselves away from it.

Anyone saying we created chances…. We were getting dangerous balls into the box early last season. But without ANYONE to put it in the net we are f’ed.

Utter disgrace..

Didnt really get into the game, had a good chance he missed, but was offside.
6/10

Decent apart from 1 30second spell when he nearly let them score and another 30second spell when they did score.
2/10
I was hoping Keane would prove us wrong this season..

I'm guessing we had nothing up front. Obviously with Maupay, we basically didn't!

Tbh we could have won that game a few times over. As usual our finishing let us down. Defensively we were sound against a limited attack. No one played that badly, but in key moments were lacking. The counter attack football worked well and with better decision making and a bit of luck we'd have won easily.
