There are no positives from this result

All it showed was we have a chronic lack of goalscoring threat.
I think their keeper had a very good game, we created chances and could have easily had a few goals before they scored. I think the club are trying to buy a talented striker or 2, but i can understand why this is challenging on many levels with our current issues.

They've had 2 years to make these signings. Of course it's challenging but that's no excuse.

Well of course it is an excuse if we have no money to pay for the type of talent we need and if players are not interested in coming to play for us.
The reason we are in this pickle, well we can discuss that till the cows come home....but its been decades in the making.

I can and will continue to blame any fans that don't support protesting mate. I'm sorry but I just will. I think they're complicit in the killing of this club. I'm not even asking them to do anything. Just back those of us that will do it.
If?

Today, it could have been so different, for various reasons, pp referee descion on the disallowed goal, chronically poor descion making at times, when in clear scoring positions, by Duke & Maupay, and by a sun bathing shot of fate leaning back on the shot, so the balls rising,, Patterson, but he hit the woodwork.

Hope eternal, and at least there's spirit, in the squad, which was not there, a year ago.

I'm far happier ghan 12 months ago, and this season, Everton, I'm sure will be OK well before May!

But , today, "If?"

Absolutely awful, club, players, manager. All of them.
In terms of the manager, pick any kid or reserve player instead of maupay. That's a massive three points dropped.

At least we're not deluded as a fanbase, eh? We know exactly what we need after today. Anyone with eyes on the game will have seen re: Maupay. You can't stress enough how converting our chances, especially in the first half, would have changed things.

Well I'm not happy with the state of the club at all. You can say if this and if that all you want mate but the reality is that the club is slowly falling apart. Its rotting from the inside because of the cancer that is our owner and chairman. I and others will continue to protest againt the scum killing the club. All I ask those that have no interest in doing so is for them to not undermine those of us that do. I don't think that's unreasonable. If they do then I will consider them part of the problem.
