Lots of teams create chances and should win but end up losing it even happens to Man City every now and then
We haven't been able to take our chances for 2 seasons so I'm definitely not basing my opinions on 1 game. Today just highlighted clearly all our long term problems.

We weren't unlucky. We just have woeful, substandard attackers who shouldn't be playing at this level.

Only good recruitment fixes this mess.

How people can be encouraged watching that is beyond me. It just exacerbated all my fears and concerns on how on earth we will score even close to enough goals.

We took 5 chances against brighton not that long ago

In a game where Calvert Lewin played, and also Mcneil. And their keeper was dreadful.

When Maupay starts we dont win many football matches. It was inevitable we would struggle to score when that team selection was announced.

Woeful attacking options plus the cautious and uninspiring Dyche approach is not a good combination.

I agree. We're finishing 20th never mind bottom three. Fulham won't win many games away from home this season.

I'm not willing to write us off as doomed or anything week 1 !!

I'm just stating the obvious truth that a relegation battle is inevitable with our current attacking options. Sign some players or we are gambling yet again on the clubs future.

Today was an appalling result and I want immediate action from Thelwell, Chairman and owner.

no it didn’t you said it’s “my fault we lost”

and fans like me.

i mean baffling how you come to that conclusion
No it didn't. You're either willfully lying or don't remember. This conversation became with you quoting me with some little inside joke that I didn't get saying that I was "Kevs mate" because I said the following
One game into the season and I'm already fed up and sick of this crap. Northing will ever improve while the cancer that is Moshiri and Kenwright remain poisoning the club. Youse can all talk rubbish about blindly supporting the club if you want but if you aren't backing the continuation of protests pre and post match every single game then you're part of the problem as far as I'm concerned and you deserve the club as it is.
I stand by every word.

They've had 2 years to make these signings. Of course it's challenging but that's no excuse.
Being honest, we've had no scoring forward since Rom, no midfield player scoring and creating goals, since Siggy, and Tim, and no defenders scoring regularly since Bains, Degsy, Jags, and Wag.

It's a bad nut to chew, but it's the facts. If you don't score goals, you don't win games.

NB Maupay is missing chances, but there's no point in Evertons back line doing the easy option ale House punt, to him.

That's down to Dyche Tarks and the whole squad. Perhaps the F F , Coaching system.

Who knows.. we all know a but about the game, we all may know some who play the game, perhaos, who play for EFC.

But the club administration, and leadership wise, is in purgatory.

The club must act fast, else the EFC, will decline, sadly faster.

But hope, eternal, but no one should be firing against the players families, at any time.
Easy scape coats, but play to the team, strengths, but not make failure to miss sitters, an excuse to target players , who.miss the easy chances, make a poor descision.

There's a line in life, as in a club and time to take stock.

Everton, will be OK, this season, if a few players can be brought in before this window, closes.

January 2024, Duke, Gana and Iwobi, are gone for 6 weeks, in the Afrixsn Cup of Nations.

Midfield back up or replacements are needed.

UTFTs!

I've just got home from the game and I haven't read many of the comments on here, so I apologise if I'm repeating what's already been said.

As soon as I saw our lineup, I was worried. Maupay up front simply does not work.

If we play like that for the rest of the season we'll be relegated. It's no use making chances if they're not taken. "We could have had four or five" - we got NONE.

Why wait until the last 20 minutes before making a substitution?

We've had ten years of mostly dull, boring football (with a few exceptions here and there). How are we going to persuade youngsters to support Everton when we play so badly?

sorry lad but you can’t “blame your own fans”

you just can’t
I can and will continue to blame a certain section of the fans for their part in the state the club is in for the reasons I have gave. I'm sorry if that bothers you mate but you're just going to have to live with it.🤷‍♂️

ha ha it’s not “ the fans fault”

that moshiri and BK have us a laughing stick
I think hes referring to the elements of our fan base who always criticise those who ask for change.

And I would tend to agree. Those who have supported the board and owner and tried to criticise protests have not helped with getting improvements to how the club is ran.
