Why start Simms at old Trafford etc but never start him in games like this

Why give the lad a fighting chance when we could just hang him out to dry in the toughest games?

That said, this Fulham side started the season brilliantly, total free hit with no pressure on them. But they are still a team of mostly nobodies and they are flagging badly now. If we outwork them, we beat them today (0-0 obviously).
