A clean sheet would go a long way. Even if we only scraped a 1-0 as long as we don't concede I'd take heart from that - we really really need to stop leaking goals.. from set pieces in particular!

My team, based on certain individuals being passed fit:

Pickford

Coleman - Holgate - Zouma - Digne

Schneiderlin - Davies

Sigurdsson
Walcott ----------------- Bernard
Tosun​

I think Digne deserves to keep his place after last night and Schneiderlin should be fit enough to come in for Gana alongside Davies. Hopefully Bernard is actually okay to start on the left, but if not we might have to stick Gylfi there and play Dowell in the number 10 or something.

Also FYI, Silva's presser is slated for 13:30 tomorrow according to YouTube, so I'm guessing we'll know more about the actual team after that.

Swap in Gana for Davies providing he is okay to play. Apparently last night was a precaution?
Also think we will see DCL ahead of Bernard due to fitness.

I'd be over the moon with 5-5 :celebrate: there's more chance of Cardiff qualifying for the CL than us scoring 5 at the moment!
 
Should Sandro still be here he would be a better choice for wide left. I know he doesn't score and he can tire easily but he does have that spark that is even more abundant in Richarlison which can make something out of nothing. Much better choice than shoehorning DCL in there a la Koeman. Subs bench should be interesting - not sure we have any other CB's than Pennington and no other fit wingers.

DCL contributes far more to team goals wide left than Sandro ever will for us.
 
I can't see us not winning this and I expect Coleman to play. His ball control was poor last week, but don't think we'll see that again very often. I wonder if losing the Captaincy upset him? I still can't work out why. It seemed a strange thing to do and it
certainly did nothing to inspire Bainsey.
