Turned a decent start into the season into an average start considering the average teams we've faced

Still, lots of work to do and a few players still to come in and freshen it up.

Clear as day the wide areas weren't linking up at all, don't know why he didn't switch the wingers over at all in the game. That was an appalling second half, genuinely felt like a fat Sam performance. Everyone besides Pickford, zouma and holgate need to have a look at themselves after that. Huddersfield sat and let us play upfront of them, which our boys seemed perfectly happy to do. Massively frustrating game all-round with yet another set piece goal conceded

It was like watching a Big Sam team play against another Big Sam team with Big Sam as referee.

Not surprising really given todays match squad. The squad isn't good enough to cope with the amount of players we have missing. 8 players missing that would have all potentially been in the squad of 18.

I don't think it's been mentioned today but there is not a lot separating us from teams like Huddersfield. I can't wait for the top 6 to bugger off to their own pan-European championship so us remaining 14 evenly matched teams can have a real go at the title.

I think that line up relied on balls from davies digne and coleman to be put into the box.

digne did ok , but Davies's passing was shockingly bad and coleman has now had the 2 worst performances ive seen him have for us.
the whole team looked like they had run a marathon before kick off. just nothing left in the tank and running on fumes.

..really. I can only think of the Lookman cross but I don’t count that as a chance unless somebody managed to get on the end of it. A couple of Calvert-Lewin headers, perhaps, but nothing where I thought that was a sitter.

Holgate was dominated mate. He has still a hell of a lot to learn. His passing was woeful, he did a couple of timely interceptions but otherwise not good
