Leeds had zero shots on target , which taking in account Everton's woeful defense this season, it's quite an incredible feat. Just an all around superb performance. Hope we can build on this
would be sickning for any Leeds supporter that might have bet on their team having a few shots on target. Considering that they hit the bar a few times. Hitting the bar is considered off target. Oh dear......how sad ....never mind.
And as you say , our defence ( for once) kept a team at bay.
And we had in total 21 shots at goal. 10 on target. Not to shabby.
I'm just thinking about the time ( actually under Moyes) when we went ( I think). Five....5 matches without a shot on target. What was that about.
Anyhow........great result yesterday. If Lampard can get us defending proper. And scoring goals. Then he ain't doing much wrong. He'll do for me. Up The Toffees......

Probably not the thread to say this. But here's goes anyway.
Nkunku imo would be a great addition to this squad for next season. If the guys gained experience playing in Belguim, and comes back chomping at the bit for game time. I think that he is our LB for next season. Not writing off Mylenko. But I have liked what I have seen of Nkunko. He could just fit in to Lampards way of playing. Let's see..... And I wouldn't write off Patterson making the RB position his own as well. This guy can play. Believe me.
It's a funny old game. A few weeks ago , all was doom and gloom.
And now with a new manager. A couple of wins. A couple of new players. A couple returning from injury. A new freedom. A clean sheet ( those really help). A better bench. And even Iwobi and ( dare I say it) Rondon looking better. Everything is looking better.
Now not getting carried away here. But it's amazing what difference a few weeks make. Would that team yesterday have lost to Norwich and Watford?
Anyhow........ramble over. Just getting an early prediction in that Nkunku and Patterson are our starting full backs for next season. With Coleman.....Kenny and Mylenko as able back up. Looking good already.
Up The Toffees......

I think under Allardyce we went quite a few without any shots on target. Not sure it was that bad under Moyes.

I only manage half a dozen games a season or so but Leeds are the first away fans I’ve seen in years openly looking for trouble in pubs etc rounded off the day nicely to see a few of the biffs on their arses whilst we were walking up Priory road to get the bus?
Say no more.
Back in the day(1971-ish) rs and leeds pubs and social clubs used to have reciprocal visits to each others establishments, it was like old home week.
Birds of a feather
By their friends shall ye know them.

Why is Fat Sam getting a mention. Everton employing him was one of the darkest periods in our history, a shocker of a football manager and a shocker of a person. Time to look upward not backward. Bit like Frank is doing with the team, time to play forward not backward.

Mate he is only being mentioned to remind us how horrible that time was
