I don't know why people are questioning the Godfrey offside. He was in an offside position when the ball was hit, he then makes an attempt to head the ball meaning he's interfering in play, even if he hadn't tried to headed it I think it would have still been given offside because Godfrey was standing in front of your keeper so again was interfering with play.
Rhico knocked iron with his arm anyway.......he had spoke game because of Carlos tactics you cannot sit back like a team as fast as Leeds .......
I warned playing square pegs in round holes the defeat is down to him ......basics is play recognised right back, and a left back with cover on the wings .....they were not even on the bench ......all the slower cronies.... again......
Big Dunc has more idea imo .......

It hit both players. It was offside. Deflections irrelevant and haven't mattered for years

Well of course it matters. Once a pass hits an opponent, then it's a new phase and therefore can't be offside. So a deflection is a big issue.

It doesn't detract from our performance, and we created enough to score 3-4 goals, but it does irk me that they didn't even look at a goal that was clearly off the Leeds player. It wasn't even a tight call.

It was off a Leeds player. Maybe Richarlinson got the 1st contact, but final toucg, undoubtedly off a Leeds player. He can't be offside then. Absolutely no idea why VAR didn't even look at it.

If Richarlison played it first and the touch off a Leeds player is deemed a deflection then it doesn't reset offside, which if you're right about what happened why it was ruled out.

Do you have a vid of it at all, can't find one anywhere.

I mean if Richarlison gets a touch then he's offside unfortuantely. Like saying if someone shoots but it takes a deflection immedaitely, the person who taps it in who is miles offside becomes onside. Not how it works.

Can't begrudge them the victory, but really questionable decisions in system and subs.

Not really mate. He could only be offside if he's intervening between the time it touched Richarlinson to touching the defender, which he obviously isn't. It's a mad decision.

However, if you don't take chances, you're right, you don't deserve to win

I'm afraid not mate, it looked to me like it went in off the Leeds player.

Only one person to blame today and that us the manager. Ridiculous team selection no realistic left side cover and when he took Davies off to allow Iwobi the chance to play on the right he took Iwobi off just five minutes later. Questions need to be asked as to why Gordon and Niels were left out of the squad

Just finished watching that, I thought Leeds were tremendous, we’re kind of ok but we need teams to have an off day to beat them, if they are up for it we don’t really have an answer.

Oh, and Doucoure was absolutely woeful.

CA does not know his best XI
He does not know his best formation
He has no clue how to turn our fortunes around on the pitch, it all showed today.... The mask is slipping.......
