The term is ‘self deprecation’ not ‘self depreciation’...I have noticed this error in one or two posts.
Now, Everton: losers, but we know that. I feel the RS result worked against us as the pressure went on the lads to take advantage of their (the RS) dropping points. Our lads, our club, just do not do pressure. They lost today’s game when the full time whistle went at Brighton.
We will finish the league in a pressureless 8th to 12th position...same next year and every year after that.
The lads will do a fabulous Blue Chrimbo though...

I agree, it is a curse but also some serious mismanagement gone on at the club...... we need to buy another 6/7 players which could cost upward of 200/300 million...

We had our chances but we were never totally convincing & got overrun by a determined & energetic young team...

We could not keep the ball & control midfield & allowed Leeds to boss the game..

Neither side had the quality to take their chances & the game could have gone either way, although the away side squeezed a long shot thru Godfreys legs low into the corner of Pickfords goal...

That was a great finish to be fair mate, the lad knew where he wanted to put it.

I mean if Richarlison gets a touch then he's offside unfortuantely. Like saying if someone shoots but it takes a deflection immedaitely, the person who taps it in who is miles offside becomes onside. Not how it works.

Can't begrudge them the victory, but really questionable decisions in system and subs.

Allan was great today

also to be honest thought DCL was great again as an outlet today, although he didn’t get into great scoring positions. He didn’t take a minute off

Richarlisons effort was there, just wasn’t clinical at all

Realistically I think we all knew the season was over as far the league goes when Digne got injured. Is getting a bit boring watching us get outplayed at home by pretty much anyone because our pressing is absolutely pathetic though.

That's a big investment but I guess if one want to become a top team that's the type of spending a team needs to make to get really good players. Unfortunately a lot of players are not always worth the price
