SH*TE.

The better team won, beyond doubt, and it saddens me immensely to say it, because we really should have taken a very mediocre RS team to the cleaners.

I feel so sorry for Sylvain Distin, who has been immense all season, but you NEVER pass back in the last 40 yards or so, unless it's an absolute last resort. Isn't that obvious?????? How many times have teams become unstuck with this gambit????? FFS. It sums up the negative and DEFENSIVE nature of our game today.

I'm not going to criticise the manager for this at all. We played our best 11 apart from Royston Drenthe, who was VERY badly missed.

COME IN MR KENWRIGHT, AND YOUR BOARD, YOUR TIME IS UP.

I just want to cry. Of all the teams to lose to in this way. And we did it with a whimper, that's what makes it infinitely worse. Lose the ball, again and again, because of HOOOF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! football, invite them on, yeah, on the law of averages they will take advantage eventually.

And, of course, they did.

We rode our luck, time after time.

TBH it should have been a 4-1 defeat, we were lucky to lose by just one.

Sad days guys. We didn't just lose, but we LOST INEPTLY to the RS, of all teams.

I just want to CRY
 

They deserved it in the end, turned it up when they needed to. Disappointed all round at too many Everton players sh*tting it.

The blame machine will go into full flow but its as simple as that.

It will sting but we don't deserve to be in the final.

True, we play either osman or cahill, not both. Baines suffers if he we play anyone other than pienaar on the left.
Sad to say but notice the quality of our football decreases with Cahill in the side, Ossie must play there for mine. See Sunderland game last week.

in order to learn and move on from this embarrassing defeat (yet again v liv this season ) heads will have to roll rather than the "we all knuckle down together "
 
EFC needed to play their best talent and be brave. These are not qualities of DM. The idea of Hibbert playing in a semi-final is joke; and not playing Drenthe, unless he was injured, is evidence of the limited imagination of DM.

I have a message for Cahill and Neville; your P45's are waiting for you in reception.

agreed distin has been nothing but great for us and he is a top bloke with a will to win, he will be devastated about it. He has one mistake a season in him but we knew that when we were buying him, if he didnt we wouldnt be able to afford him because he'd be one of the best there is. Sadly for us that mistake came today, hes not the problem, its our inability to play good, attractive football on the deck when it matters, **** sunderland at home these are the games we need to do it, but it wont happen with moyes in charge, get rid kenwrong, show some ****ing evertonian passion for once lad
