We usually have the better of the Goodison game against these. Just we haven't had the quality/balls to finish them off in games.

If we defend well and Koeman gets his tactics right when we're off the ball, the fans will do the rest.

If that fails, kick them a lot.

I don't know... these rise to the challenge better than we do. Don't think we have enough to beat them.
C'mon blues prove me wrong
Everton have been a psychologically weak club for decades. Psychologically weak managers like Moyes and Smith haven't helped. Irrespective of league position, whether we're above them or not, they've always taken the dominant position in derby matches. The few victories we've secured have either been close games with few clear cut chances (eg the Carsley one) or where they've had a rare mare and things have fallen our way (the 3-0 Andy Johnson one).

They're far stronger up front than we are, but they are far weaker at the back than we are. I reckon our defence can just about hold them out, so we need to be going on the attack tonight. No half measures.

Spot on Cowboy our defence has been tight at home and if the players put the same effort in as they did the second half last week against their more than suspect defence then there's no reason why we can't get a positive result, I also hope there will be no half measures where I'm watching the game tonight.

3-0 RS

Just don't think we will cope with there attack. They have been the most impressive team this season and i'm dreading tonight.

Oh behave lad, how have they been more impressive than Chelsea who are sitting 9 points above them, there just a latter day Keegan Newcastle, with a favour of the month manager who you'll see just how good a sportsman he is after losing tonight when he will throw his toys out the pram.

I want us to win 1-0, by a goal that was atleast 5 yards offside, or the most obvious handball ever, or a dodgy penalty which was never a penalty, or that wasn't even close to crossing the line.

Just so I can sit there and watch the RS fume fest unfold as get my list out of all the times we have been royally bummed by referees in Derbys with the biggest grin on my face saying "stick it you RS mutants" :bye: :D
