Need to match them energy wise tonight so it's got to be the same team that stared against Arsenal but with a Jags replacement. McCarthy needs to play alongside Gana, this isn't a game for Barry to come back in. Lennon and Valencia need to be on the wings too, grafting away and being up close with Rom. If he keeps the team the same then I'm confident of a result. He brings Barry back and drops Valencia and I think we'll get done.

Derby day never fails to get the excitement going, the anticipation, the nerves, thinking the worst and then the best. Really looking forward to tonight under the Goodison lights.

COYB. Nothing to fear but fear itself.

That is our undoing, as it was for them in the 90s.
Once you build a mental barrier it is very difficult to push over.

We where terrible in 97/98 season, yet still turned them over.
We as fans need to overcome fear.

Due to lots of things, I'm going to be nowhere near any sort of device to watch this until it's all over by many hours.

So I'll obviously miss a Famous Victory.

After the Arsenal game with players putting themselves about all over the park and tackles flying in from Coleman, McCarthy, Gueye, Mori, Barkley, Valencia, gives renewed hope the 'mental barrier' will be less prominent this game.

If I were RK it would be same team that started v Arsenal with Holgate replacing Jags.

Fully expect Barry and Mori to play though and that would be the wrong decision IMO. Barry for all that is good about him is too slow for this game, and after Mori's performance in the last game vs the rats I'd be concerned about his composure tonight.

Oh behave lad, how have they been more impressive than Chelsea who are sitting 9 points above them, there just a latter day Keegan Newcastle, with a favour of the month manager who you'll see just how good a sportsman he is after losing tonight when he will throw his toys out the pram.

They beat Chelsea!. And the games they have lost they still dominated. They have scored the most goals in the league and at times look unstoppable. Sure there defence is weak, but so is ours. I hope i'm wrong but i cant see how we win tonight.
