Absolute dross for eighty minutes, sitting too deep not pressing allowing Liverpool to do as they pleased, we could have lost two or three goals in the first hour. Not being able to control the ball or put together attacks. Then ten minutes of going for it (when we had and missed three chances) which showed us that we could have won this game with just a bit more belief and ambition from the manager. I'd volley Sam out Monday.

You have a staggeringly poor knowledge of Football, I naturally presumed Rugby was your game and you've simply ended up here by chance now that your village has discovered broadband.

My apologies if I misread the situation.

Ah, you also use racial stereotypes, of course, wonder where you learnt that?Football is my first sport, I live in a town and work in a city in IT so have good knowledge on which broadband provider to choose.

Yes, you got everything wrong.

As far as my football knowledge goes, seeing as you never post you must have based my knowledge on the one or two posts you have seen, or do you spend a lot of your time stalking everton and on a rival forum?

Ah, poor form haha they're not exactly the hardest to pin point are they? One post of fishing and they all of a sudden start frothing and hurl personal insults. Par for the course supporting a club who openly support racism I suppose.

What a weird game that was. We were very average for most of it, but managed to carve out some of the best chances.

You can forgive many things on a football pitch but cowardice is not one of them. For about 80 minutes today we played with fear and that is criminal. We treated that side of reserves with a reverence befitting Real Madrid- it was pathetic. This was most evident on our right flank were Ragnar bloody Klavan, Estonian legend, was not even troubled once in that period. Walcott has to take some of the blame for that, but it all stems from the manager. His entire goal is self preservation- preserving his reputation (a reputation that exists only inside his fat head). He’s just like Hodgson, Pardew etc. He’ll sleep tonight happy knowing he got one over one of the mighty top 6. Klopp on the other hand will have forgotten all about today’s inconvenience and will already be focused on the CL. That’s all we our now, an inconvenience, not a rival. And that won’t change with this odious ogre in charge.

I hate Sam, will be happy when he's gone, but have no problem with the STARTING tactics today at all. Even though it was a crap Liverpool side, to run at them is just stupid from the start.

That being said, the selection was STUPID and of course, the players today for us were just crap. Simple as that. If you are going to sit on it and attack in the last 10 minutes - what the heck we were waiting for, that was embarrassing enough - WHY start Rooney and Davies and sub them for Gana and Beni when you are looking to score? That's insnane. Gana was our #10 at the end. Stupid. Rooney can actually score from some of those spots.

With a big problem being our propensity to just give the ball away when under no pressure, considering the tactics, our midfield was just dire. Rooney was horrid and cannot play in central midfield giving the ball away like that. Davies is a terrific talent and love him, but gives the ball away too easily. We put a decent box to box player in there today with Siggy, and it's a completely different game. I also understand Morgan was better today, but he still wasn't good. Backpedalling and conceding space with the occasional tackle doesn't make a great performance. So slow, the Ox made him look stupid at one point in the second half.

Keane also showed some heart, but he again made several positional errors that we were thankfully not punished for b/c their side was garbage, and his distribution is suspect. Jags was fine, but there is just no ball player back there at all and they had TIME on the bad in the second half.

However, Walcott doesn't slip we win. DCL missing was predicatable, but Cenk made a couple great plays there and why Walcott made the run he did was strange and slipping was unfortunate.

Oh I think they wanted to get Walcott the ball, but the midfield was so bad when it had the ball, they simply couldn't do it.

Awful game, but still buzzing off their ‘Ultras’ twirling their scarves and doing the Iceland clap. Everyone was laughing at the cringeworthy beauts.

More like Mansfield than AC Milan. Wools.
