Agreed. Chelsea at home in Martinez's first season was pivotal in our fortunes that season. Lifted the place and produced vital momentum.

Up to then we'd have three draws from three (two goalless) against two clubs who eventually went down and WBA at home.

A win today, however seemingly unlikely, would put us on a strong start through a pretty tough set of opening fixtures.
