I think the forum can do without patronising driville such as that.

Giving as good as we're getting, mate. You think it's fine for a fellow Blue to come on and tell others we're a disgrace because our opinion of today doesn't match his, or yours? Don't tell us what to think, even though that seems to be a one-way street at the moment.
Oh, and it's drivel, by the way.

I do not feel liverpool have played the best footie just the most exciting. Arsenal were good to watch then went off the boil but city and especially chelsea have been horrible to weatch

City have been horrible to watch? they've scored the same amount of goals as Liverpool.
Off the top of my head, 4 at home to Newcastle, 4 at home to Manure, 4 at home to Southampton, 6 at home to Spurs, 7 at home to Norwich, 5 at home to Fulham, 4 at home to Cardiff, 5 away to Spurs and a lot of games where they've scored 3. I'd far rather watch City than Liverpool, the reason for Liverpool have scored so many is because at home they press pretty well, where as City have more than 2(3 if you include Steve Gerrard Gerrard smashing a free kick in) players that can provide a bit of magic. Rodgers is far more direct at the Kopites than he was for Swansea and in all honesty it's worked.

I knew the spelling was not right, darn it just could not put my finger on it, thanks.

BTW no we are all entitled to our opinion and I respect that but you reply was really yuk

You really are thick, aren't you? You're telling me a Liberpewl win won't affect our club? They don't operate in mutually exclusive vacuums and you ought to know that, if you indeed live in the city. They win a championship, we get pushed right back into their shadows as the media will be falling all over themselves trying to outfap each other. They'll have that much better chance to bring in more money thanks to the increased exposure, while we won't get anything more than an afterthought. That's why in this case an Everton loss doesn't rankle as much.
Read that again, because they're a subtle difference that obviously eluded your grasp -- it's not that I or anyone else wanted Everton to lose, it's rather in this case we're not as arsed about it, given the circumstances.

Liberpewl? Are you 5?

Haha, okay then. I'm really thick, weren't you calling me smug earlier mate?

Don't lecture me on business or economics, I have a masters in economics. They already kill us in revenue, even with their slack over the last twenty years. If you honestly believe that the way we get ourselves out of the shadows and increased revenue is through their failure then you're incredibly naive. The best way is to perform as well as we can, we still had a small chance of champions league but some our fans clearly didn't care as long as they didn't benefit.

Also, some things you can't apply to business or economics - that's for the directors to worry about. Our job as support is to always back our lads to do the best they can.

Also, I have said all along in my other posts, I can understand people looking back on the result and finding positives like Liverpool missing out on the title and I understand that and did that myself. What I didn't understand was people actively supporting city and not wanting us to score.

Fine. But if we could have a debate without someone coming on here and telling others to [Poor language removed] off repeatedly, there wouldn't be the need for such "yuk" responses. Trouble is, the lectures are all coming from one side. And that's not a debate, that's haranguing.

Close. 51.
And a masters in economics? Then you'd know how much more of an edge they'd get with another title.
Never mind. You're clearly in the one camp, I'm in the other. No point belabouring the matter.

Maybe that's the difference, I wasn't born when we were on top and have taste of success so I can't comprehend us losing to benefit others, I just want us to do our best and get back there :(
And yes, of course they'll get a boost but as I said that's not for us as fans to worry about, let the directors and the club's financial analyst deal with that. As fans lets just back us to the hilt.
And fair enough buddy, we all want what's the best for Everton, just different ways to do it. No hard feelings

Couldn't have been more professional today.

They're essentially crying because the ground was a bit quieter than it usually would have been. Of course it was. We had nothing to play for and didn't fancy handing them the league on a silver platter.

People really need to get over it.
how can you say we had nothing to play for? i still wanted 4th. we could of put pressure on arsenal.
Basically everton fans are tits.
at what point did he call us tits?
