Seen plenty of bottle jobs over past 30 year, most have been against good sides though, we couldve easily been 5 down after half hour against one of the worst manure sides in my time when we are supposedly progressing.. at home, in a cup qf that we really really want to win.. the whole team looked scared.

That terrible Utd side that are 3rd in the league having played a game less than everyone else around them?

Yup, every single time. Ticked all the boxes, didn't show up, had some injustice that we didn't use in any way shape or form to our advantage and then conceded a late goal and then another one for good measure as we love to do that too.

We managed to silence 2,000 fans who had not watched a live game for nine months after about 20 minutes with out inept performance. Takes some doing that.
100%

I hope the club call sky commentary out on Richarlisons foul, laughing while the lad was probably concussed, disgusting from the dirty little manc rat neville
Thought that was pretty off key myself, expect it from the Rat but the sycophant doing co-commentary should be a bit more professional. All the stuff lately about concussions etc and that pair tittering about ‘a sneaky one’...... as usual absolutely f all will be said or done.

Hurt to see Mina picked up by his windpipe and thrown to the ground, thought he was our hardest player. No wonder the likes of Bernard hide.

It was daft from Cavani, and a red card, but Mina threw himself on the ground to exaggerate it. Let's not pretend here.

A minute or two later Cavani took loose control of a ball in front of Mina. Fairly high up the pitch too. A perfect opportunity to clatter him from behind and get away with it. Nope, of course not.

Things like that annoy me more. No real desire to match the opposition in their tenacity or snide.

Because I don’t say I’m not supporting Everton any more because we lost a qf to Man Utd when both teams were poor doesn’t mean I don’t care mate, I just channel my frustrations better.

Anyway, I’m off to create an effigy of Tosun to burn in front of the house.
But Tosun is not the real long term problem
We are still a dinosaur club from top to bottom
We are wonderful at PR and community support
But we employ too many ex players who arent producing

There are individual poor performances tonight. However Im still embarrassed by the general level of our expertise playing the ball. Siggurdsson controlling the ball as though he had Iwobi's old bin lids on his feet throughout. Sort your feet out... Charlie Cairoli in circus shoes. Davies... wandering round aimlessly and at one stage making a big play to head the ball in midfield..his area of expertise...resulting in an attempt like someone's Auntie at a do in the back garden. Thats in addition to the spray of balls throughout directed with accuracy... straight to the opposition. The raison d'etre of a pro footballer... so why does it fluctuate week to week.???

Walsh bought Sigurdsson and Tosun, Gomes was a good played before his leg break, Davies came though our youth team and most people thought Delph would be a solid signing. The delight you take in us failing really annoys me mate. Blaming Brands for Gbamin’s freak injury etc, either support the team or just ignore them.
There's no defending Brands. He's indefensible.

like f he did

he was pushed backwards, by his neck

Turd but thats the difference between us and a top 5/6 squad. We don't have the depth of squad, utd play vdb, cavani and greenwood. We are looking to bernard, davies and Tosun. Our starting 11 looked knackered, took them 30 minutes to get into it. Squads not there yet but its certainly going in the right direction so Ill try take some positives in terms of the bigger picture but man its gutting.
