Not away from home, no....or Newcastle for that matter. At home to all but Man City, and I dont know why we cant take points if we have a good attitude and workrate.

Both their goals came from silly or weak turnovers of possession in midfield, and with quality in the final third they made us pay on both occasions. Our goal came from exactly the same scenario with Onana nicking the ball cheaply off Casemiro. Sloppy or soft mistakes in the midfield are nearly always punished in this league...Sunday night was no exception for both teams.
We’re aching for a centre forward who can hold the ball up, relieve pressure and allow us to move up the park. That just isn’t Maupay’s game. DCL is a conundrum for me....not sure if he’ll come back fit and raring to go to seal a World Cup slot or whether he’ll be timid and cautious not wanting to aggravate a weakness. Either way, the January window or more likely the Summer window a centre forward is absolutely critical if we want to improve.

No panic here, can see what Lampard and Thelwell are doing and think there’s already been a significant change in mindset and mentality under them. We have to remember where we’ve come from and be realistic with our expectations.....they really did inherit a complete shitheap.
